exhaustion

On the plus side, I now have some new shoes for work – yay. On the minus, I have spent the best part of the day tramping around Oxford St, and am shattered. And have a long night ahead. I’ve had a cup of tea, first caffeine in months, eeek, and will probably be feeling even worse soon.

But it isn’t all bad. I have new shoes. Bought from the sixteenth shoe shop Aoife and I visited. And a nice new pink top that’s a little too seethrough, but acceptable enough.

Burly is doing something with his laser, and I think we have to go shortly. The weekends go so fast.

Work was terrible yesterday, I really don’t want to go in on Monday. I suspect this is going to be a common feeling over the next few months. At least there is the trip to SA to look forward to, and then look back upon. We spend a lot of time considering how things are elsewhere.

Have started to read Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha, as I finished No Country for Old Men last night. The latter was good, I suspect PC is as well – or else the Booker panel were wrong.

Oooh, perhaps there will be free books this evening. Very exciting.
